Are machines as good as free weights?
Both build strength well with good form and progressive overload. Aroleap X gives digital resistance from 2 to 75 kg in 0.5 kg steps, and you can still do barbell work with the included barbell. It also does things free weights can't do safely when you train alone: Spotter Mode reduces the weight when you struggle, and Eccentric Mode adds load on the lowering phase.
